“Homage” was an addition to the mixtape literally from last week. Over Thanksgiving break I found out that my Uncle had passed away a couple months. He was my favorite uncle. I called the track “Homage” because I thought it was the perfect to befit a legacy. With my Uncle’s passing I’m the last Stover in our family line. In this track I pay “Homage” to my Uncle Donny and my Uncle Larry who passed away almost ten years ago. I miss them both very much and to be honest Uncle Donny’s death didn’t really hit me til last night when I brokedown crying. They were both magnificent men and I wish they could see where I’m at now. But I’ll be reunited with them one day…..
